Training and Development of employees is concerned with activities that lead to more effective and efficient employees.  This can be customized to each employee and other times may be a mandatory workshop of class for all employees.  This might also include required certifications depending on the position.  Continuing Education (CEC or CEU) requirements to maintain licensing would also fall into this category.
